The Blue Card is a type of residence permit that allows highly qualified workers from non-European Union countries to live and work in Germany. It is especially designed for professionals in the fields of engineering, information technology, natural sciences, and healthcare.

Application Requirements:

• You must have a valid job offer in Germany.

• Your job offer must exceed a certain minimum salary threshold. (As of 2023, the annual gross salary is €56,400, and for certain professions, this amount is €43,992.)

• You must be able to provide proof of your academic qualifications or professional experience.

• You must apply for an appropriate residence permit for Germany.
